1989 : The Redlands Ashlyn group of companies, entered the sales and service of precision weighing balances, catering primarily to the jewelry industrial and analytical segments. At a time when imported balances were the mainstay of the industry. The Redlands Ashlyn groups played a pivotal role in introducing and effectively marketing made in India electronic weighing balances. So for the first time, electronic balances were affordable to a great many users.

1996 : The group ventured into the sales and service of offset print finishing packaging equipment business Today the company is a leading supplier in the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia and India representing multiple leading global brands, including our own OEM brand Champion.

1999 : Ashlyn Chemunnoor Instruments Pvt Ltd. been at the forefront in promoting the application of X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometers (XRF) for non-destructive elemental analysis including the detection of the percentage of gold in the retail and wholesale trade of precious metal jewelry. Another product is the 3D Laser marker for the hallmarking of precious metal jewelry. Almost every leading retail jewelry group in India use the Redlands gold purity analysers, laser markers and office automation equipment, at their retail, wholesale, purchase and production centres.

2007 : The company has added the XRF handheld portable series for metallurgical applications and petrochemical industry helping manufacturers to conform to ROHS, ELP standards and for quality control during production.

2008 : A new enterprise to produce agricultural machinery was started. Today this company produces one of the most advanced mini straw balers in the world at its state of the art factory in Coimbatore,India.

The group provides direct employment to 500+ people and indirectly to another 1000+ people. The company’s mission is to provide its customers with excellent quality, unrivalled service and at yet affordable price.
